Silk Road Journey to Southern Xinjiang

Embarked on a journey of 20 days to Southern part of Xinjiang which is known as Nanjiang (南疆), a part of Silk Road journey. The journey to the Pamir Zone is the part I love the most. The majestic landscape and the vastness makes me want to see more and more as the bus moves. The poplar trees in Autumn is another highlight of my trip. I am lucky to see the golden yellow leaves grow on the hardy tree truck. The first time I saw a fluffy red squirrel in the Heavenly Lake, its fur was so puffy and beautiful. I love Xinjiang Street Food – Xinjiang Dinding Noodles, Xinjiang Shave Ice Yoghurt, Cold Noodle, Fried Fish. I enjoyed visiting the shops in the Kashgar Old City, it is full of colours. It displayed their unique musical instruments and copper teapots. There are so much to see and I wish I had more time there lol.
