( ၇ ၀ ). တစ်ချိန်တုန်းက တက္ကသိုလ်. ကျွန်တော်တို့ တက္ကသိုလ်. ၁၉၇၀ ခုနှစ်ရန်ကုန်တက္ကသို လ်ကြီးရွှေရတုခေတ်ကာလခေတ်ကောင်းချိန်ကမှတ်တမ်း ဓာတ်ပုံတွေ ဖြစ်လို့နှစ်ပေါင်း ၅၁ နှစ်ကြာခဲ့ပါ ပြီ ။ ရွှေရတု ပွဲ နွှဲနေတဲ့ ဓာတ် ပုံတွေပါ။ ဓာတ် ပုံထဲ့ပါ ခဲ့တဲ့ဆရာသမားတွေသူငယ်ချင်းမိတ်ဆွေတွေအချို့တွေ လဲမရှိကြတော့ပါဘူး ။ ကျန်သူတွေကလဲဇာတိ ဇရာ အရွယ်တွေကို အားလုံးရောက်နေကြပါပြီ။အသက်. ၇၀ ကျော်တွေ ချည်း ဖြစ်နေကြပါပြီ ။ ဗျာတိ တိ မရဏာ အတွက်ကိုယ့်အလှည့်တွေကိုစေ င့်ဆိုင်းနေကြရင်းဘဝသံသရာ မှာ ကျင်လည်နေကြ ပါတယ် ။ ကိုယ့်ပြ ုသော ကံ ကိုယ့်ထံ ပြန် ကြ မှာ မလွဲ အသေအချာ မို့ ၊လက်ရှိကျင်လည်နေရတဲ့ပစ္စုပ္ပန် ဘဝမှာစိတ်ကောင်းစေတနာ တွေ ထား ကြပြီး ၊အတ္တနဲ့ပရ မျှတာစွာကျင့်ကြံနေထိုင်ကြခါ ၊ဓမ္မ နဲ့ အဓမ္မ ကို ခွဲခြား မြင်နိုင်တဲ့ပညာညာဏ် အတွေးအမြင် များ လဲ ရှိနိုင်ကြပါစေ။ မိမိပတ်ဝန်းကျင် မှာရှိနေကြတဲ့ မိမိလိုပြည်သူများရဲ့အနာ ဂတ် ကောင်းကျိ ုး ကို မျေိာ်တွေး၍ လဲမိမိတို့ စွမ်းနိုင်သရွေ့ အားနဲ့ ၊ အ မျ ာ း အကျိုး ကိုထမ်းရွက်ပိုးနိုင်ကြပါစေကြောင်းဆု တောငး်လိုက်ရပါတယ် ခင်ဗျား ။ ကျွန်တော်တော်တို့အင်ဂျင်နီယာမျိုးဆက်တွေကမညံ့ကြပါဘူး ။ အေးမြင့်(ညောင်တုန်း) ၂ ဒီဇင်ဘာလ ၂၀၂၁။ ( ရန်ကုန်တက္ကသိုလ်ကြီး ၁၀၁ နှစ် ရှိ ပြီ ပြီ။ ရည်ညွှန်း( ၁) ။ RIT AND ME :SURVEYING- “ From Theory to Practice at RIT “ရည်ညွှန်း(၂)။ တစ်ခါက ရှေ ွရတု သဘင် နှင့်ရွှေရတုကာ လ ကျွန်တော်တို့ဘဝ————. ။ RIT AND ME :SURVEYING ။ -” From Theory to Practice at RIT’ In commemoration to RIT ,YIT ,YTU Golden Jubilee andRemembrance to our Professors at RIT ( 1966-1972). by Aye Myint ( Nyaungdone )။ )။ In our academic years from 1966 to 1972, both of us civil engineering students and other major engineering students had to learn basic engineering knowledges in our first and second year classes . Basic knowledges of higher mathematics of differential and integral calculus was a useful subjects for forthcoming engineering subjects for all professionals . The subject of advanced calculus was so high and so complicated to us young students when one of our advanced calculus professor U Ba Toke lectured us eagerly in the fifth year lecture in 1971. We all fresher young students of different major engineering subject need to learn again basic sciences of physics and chemistry and it’s background principles , basic electricity knowledges of AC and DC , General geology , English and Burmese in our first year classes of 1966.I remembered U Hlwun Moe who taught us basic principles of Physics .U Moe Aung together with senior professor U Kyaw Htun taught us principles of DC and AC electricity. Basic principles of general and engineering geology was taught by U Ngwe Thein from Geology department of RASU . In second year RIT classes of 1967, we start to learn real basic engineering subjects of surveying,strength of materials , thermodynamics and other essential subjects needed for forthcoming years . A senior professor U Ba Than taught us Thermodynamics in our RIT days . Our major subjects after second year civil engineering were hydraulics ( by U Win thein ) ,Surveying and Astronomy ( by U Min Wun ,Dr. Aung Soe and U Thein Dan) , Photogrammetry ( by U Khin Maung Phone Ko and a visiting foreign professor Mr Heathcode ) , Structural Analysis ( by U San Hla Aung ) Soil Mechanics ( by U Allen Htay ) , Sanitary engineering ( by late U Win Maung and visiting foreign professor Mr.Mc . Sweeney from Ireland ) and Building Construction ( by U Tin Maung ) . Dr Aung Gyi was our head of Civil Engineering Department and U Yone Mo was our RIT rector throughout our days at RIT.After hard working days of our study at RIT during those 6 years period , we graduated as BE .Civil engineering professionals . This was not our ending story . After our studious learning at our mother RIT we were walking again on the path of never ending stories of our engineering technology both in our government service life and beyond our retirement after services.For us civil engineering professionals ,our knowledges of surveying was a very useful and essential tools for us engineers in planning and design of any kind of infrastructure projects. Thanked to our professor U Min Wun ,we ,young and fresh , graduate students of 1972 civil engineering were so lucky that we can applied our knowledges and principles of surveying learnt in the classroom to one of the major project of Myanmar . The assigned project was the ground control survey of a part of Pathein -Monywar Highway between Okshitpin and Karma. Objective was to set up ground control points and surveyed their position as horizontal and vertical ground control stations to be identified in new aerial photographs for the location and identification of a new highway alignment by aerial Photogrammetry.Head of Construction corporation , U Kyin Hlaing negotiated with his friend professor U Min Wun to conduct a survey works and assigned to us some fresher young engineers of graduate BE ( Civil ) students to do the practical surveying works . Our survey team was headed and supervised by U Khin Maung phone Ko and Dr .Aung Soe together with assistance lecturer U Aye Win Kyaw . Our ground control survey team comprised of the following BE ( Civil ) graduate engineers ( shown below in respective native and later government services after our survey works, before retirement ). 1. Ko Hoke Kyi ( Nat Ta Lin, Director Irrigation Dept, Passed away ). 2. Ko Thaung Shwe ( Director ,Irrigation Department ,Passed Away ) 3.Ko Win Naing. ( Pathein, Irrigation Department , stayed in USA? ). 4. Ko Cho Htoo ( Maw La Myaing, Dy.Director ,Irrigation Dept ). 5.AyeMyint( Nyaungdone ,Director,Irrigation Dept, now NEPS Co.). 6.Ko Aye Win ( Electric Power Corporation ,). 7.Ko Kyaw Pann Thar ( Gwa, Passed away in Yangon ). 8. 8.Ko Nyunt Oo. ( Ka thar , C.E .Construction Corporation ,Now NYO Co ). 9. Ko Maung Win ( Yangon ). 10. Ko Tin Htut ( Construction Corporation , passed away ). 11. Ko Kyaw Win ( retired from Public health and Santination ). 12. Ko Myint Thein (Maubin , Director ,Irrigation Department , 13. Ko Htay Win (. Shwe Taung Director ,Irrigation Department ). 14. We applied our knowledge of surveying as we had learnt in our RIT class room together with our one month’s practical training at field survey camp in May Myo ( Pyin Oo Lwin ) . Now we are actually doing our expertise of surveying to apply in real project of alignment survey of a location of a highway between Okahitpin and Karma ( a section of Pathein – Monywar high way ) by aerial photogrammetric method . It was really a fascinating works for us all young engineers and we all are very active and satisfied in our practical surveying of ground control stations in the field between Okshitpin and Kanma. . Though it was a hard works by walking and surveying all day long in the the field carrying and using different surveying instruments , we all were happy enough by cooperating each other in the field . Sometimes we faced drinking water shortages in the sunny days in the bamboo jungle . . In one day after our long days of hard works over the mountain range inside the bamboo forest ,we search for the Ayeyarwady river where Myawady village was located on the bank. Some of our group of young engineers after walking a distance in search of river ,we were so happy when we saw the water and Ayeyarwady river from a distance . We never forgot Dr Aung Soe who sometimes visited us field engineers and appraised us for our works and having a special dinner with him . U Aye Win Kyaw ( now passed away) was always with us and guided us all for the ground control surveying . U Khin Maung Phone Ko was very active with us in our survey and he also did the necessary calculations and adjustments later in Photogrammetric lab of civil engineering department in Yangon for Ariel photogrammetry by using a mainframe computer made by HP .( Hewlett Packard) ) . I knew HP Brand in 1972 for the first time in my life .In doing so. We all young engineers gained practical knowledges that paved ways to our future career of competent civil engineers who always faced surveying as first and foremost requirement of investigation of any kinds of water resources projects or any other major infrastructure works like buildings,bridges , and roads ,etc.. We thanks to our professors and lecturers who taught us basic engineering knowledges to us all for our future careers .
