Transferring photos,videos and files to external hard disc drive from I Phone storage
In this video I show how to connect an external USB SSD drive to an iPhone. This method will also work for connecting other types of USB storage devices to an iPhone, such as thumb drives and USB SD card readers.
For this example I’m using an iPhone 13 Mini with the Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter. This adapter is very important as it allows the connection of the iPhone charger via its Lightning port so extra power can be used to power the external USB SSD.
And the external USB SSD that I’m using is the Samsung T7, this one being the 1TB version.
I also show how simple it is to copy and paste a video file from the external SSD to the internal storage of the iPhone. You could of course go the other way and backup files from your iPhone to the external storage. Basically this video shows you How to use a USB hard drive with an iPad/iPhone when using Lightning.

I used desktop PCs,for some times ago in the past when LG digital tube monitor was the last one that I used before 2000 while laptops were in the market with floppy disk drives in those days .

I started to know the Sony Vaio which is the computer laptop that Sony was just trying to develop it’s Vaio brand and to compete with other famous computer brands around the world . Sony changed it’s marketing strategy from it’s major audio and video market to another world of computer market.
Sony named the laptop as “bridge computer ” that bridged between floppy disc drive of those days and new generation of CD drive to come later in the computer world .
Then the later models of Sony Vaio Laptop came into market with CD drives only and I even tried one new Sony Vaio model laptop of that time .
I have been a long time user of Sony electronic gadgets from hand held small analog radios in 1974 in the past to a complete large format console smart digital radio , with all radio station lines covered , memory preset system up to many stations with any time wake up listening within any day of the week with sleep timers included .
In my another life story of audio listening side rather than radio , I used Sony’s first generation compact audio component system before 1988 when large format audio systems of those days with player ,amplifier and large stereo speakers in a separate decks and speaker boxes were widely used for good stereo listening of music. . My new model of Sony B5 CD,then B7 CD was so compact that it included AM,FM,SW radio,cassette tape player and recorder and of course a CD player all combined in one compact console . CD players were just entering our audio market in Myanmar in that time . Sony compact player was amazingly tough enough that it is operational ( now in radio mode only ) today lasting more than 20 years and I can still use it in my daily life for listening to radio news and songs.
Then came Sony LCD TV in my entertainment room together with first generation Sony home theatre system with 5.1 sound rather than 2 channel stereos, in around year 2000 , to watch great Hollywood movies that I loved best .
Here is my another story of tablet computers and me .
In around 2008s, tablet was not a new gadget indeed in the market .The only problem of marketing it may be that no one interested in this model of tablet PC among widespread use of Laptop computers . . But Sony itself had ever tried and tested one model before it’s Sony Vaio computer laptop came out into market . The gadget that Sony invented was called Data Discman ,a handheld small computer-like gadget comparable and in parallel with its famous invention of its kind ,Sony Walkman , that lasted for generations up till around 2008 before Steve Job killed it with his iPod and iPhone invention . Data Discman was also no longer in the market because no one interested in it and disappeared again soon from the market .
In 2008, I found a laptop computer by HP that could be used both for conventional laptop and additional tablet ,combining the two just by flipping the laptop screen .I tested it and this HP laptop is still functioning quite well now.
But touch screen in tablet mode with a included stylus was too slow to respond to the stylus touch since it might be a new generation invention of touch screen by HP before the outcome of quicker response iPod and iPhone touch screens.
Then in 2008 world famous iPhone 3G by Steve Job emerged in the smart mobile phone market so popular that it killed then popular brand mobile phones by NOKIA who started widespread mobile phone market all around the globe.
After successful stories of his smart phones market by Steve ,he moved forward again to another market for tablet computing just renovating the existing tablet computer world and started his first generation iPad after iPhone 3 G. After succeeding years ,he revised the former iPad model and then a New iPad came into the market just before his death .I was now extensively used this model of Apple new iPad ( also called iPad 3 ) today together with another Microsoft tablet Surface RT that came out recently.
As usual in marketing world of electronic gadgets including audio,video,computers ,mobile phones and tablets ,the second generation Microsoft Surface Tablet was currently selling around the globe.
I am using my first generation Surface RT Tablet now for an additional storage by using with a USB port in it ,together with my ever lasting iPad carrying along with me since I met it.
