A Brief Visit to Hsibaw Haw / Abode of the Last SAN Prince

It opens daily between 3-5pm. The living room, the only accessible area to visitors, is decorated with Shan Flag, Photos and Historical Collections. We were divided between two groups: Burmese and English as communication medium. The burmese group was smaller and both were explained by the descendant of Sao Kya Seng. They also run through the family tree for better understanding. Its hard to catch what they are saying sometimes because two speaking group within the same hall. But still we appreciate them for entertaining us and without charging us for entrance fee.

ဗမာ့စောင်း ဇာတ်ကားဟာ ဒုတိယကမ္ဘာစစ်အတွင်း ဂျပန်စစ်သားတစ်ဦးရဲ့ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအတွင်းဘဝနှင့် သမိုင်းဆန်ဆန်ရိုက်ကူးထားတဲ့ဇာတ်ကားတစ်ကားဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဇာတ်လမ်းရဲ့အဓိကအချက်ကတော့ စစ်ပွဲရဲ့အကျိုးဆက်များ၊ အနာဂတ်အပေါ်ရဲ့အမြင်၊ လူသားအပေါ်ရဲ့ကရုဏာစိတ်တို့ကို ရည်ညွှန်းထားတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအတွက် ယူဆချက်တစ်ချို့ကြောင့် နိုင်ငံပိုင် censorship ဖြင့်ပြသခွင့်ပိတ်ထားခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရှိရပါတယ်။ အဓိကအကြောင်းအရင်းမှာ ဇာတ်ကားထဲမှာ မြန်မာယဥ်ကျေးမှု၊ ဘာသာရေးဆိုင်ရာ အရာဝတ္ထုများကို မတိကျစွာဖော်ပြထားတာကြောင့် မြန်မာအစိုးရအနေဖြင့် သက်မဲ့နည်းလို့ဆိုပြီး ပြသခွင့်ပိတ်ထားတာဖြစ်နိုင်ပါတယ်။ ဒါပေမဲ့ ယနေ့ခေတ်မှာတော့ The Burmese Harp ကို လူတော်တော်များများက အနုပညာပိုင်းအရတန်ဖိုးရှိတဲ့ကားတစ်ကားအဖြစ် သဘောထားကြပါတယ်။
