All this was achieved by the people of Myanmar without anybody else helping them.

In the early stages of coup when junta was shooting non-violent protests and arresting them and torturing in thousands, people of Myanmar called for international help and Responsibility to Protect.

Nobody listened. Nobody helped.

So they switched to Respondibility to Defend.

Nobody believed they can succeed.

And here we are

Myanmar’s Spring Revolution is one if the most remarkable stories of our time. Still largely unnoticed, unrecognized, overlooked, under-appreciated.

But that will change. Articles and books will be written about how they succeeded.
